Slowing Down
Things are finally slowing down at work and I have time to stop and think. I'm sad about the summer flying by and I've only been to the beach twice and haven't worked on my tan much or drank on a patio almost at all. This is unacceptable and hopefully things are changing this weekend.
Part of the reason is all this getting engaged and moving business - which I haven't blogged about because of time. With my boring life, if there was ever a time for drama and stress worthy of blogging about that could possibly have enough action to be worth of a book deal, this was it and I didn't even have any time. Perhaps I will find some time to write about it soon.
So it's mid July, and I've been working on the house, lawn and beer belly. I woke up this morning excited for the weekend, and then - horror of all horrors - someone asked me if I was pregnant this morning. Yes, some a-hole at work, who has a wife and should know better, tried to subtly ask me if I was with child. Hell-to-the-no! I don't even think that I look it! But considering already existent insecurities this did take me down a notch. I refused to let it bug me more than 5 minutes and swore to work out like usual.
At the gym, I realized I forgot my shorts - and yes peeps - ended up working out in skirt.
This weekend I have Saturday to myself, although I might be playing limo driver to my Gus and his drunk friends to and fro Mile High Music Fest. If not I'll see my parents. Then Sunday, we have VIP tickets to the same Fest!!!!!!!! I'm including the lineup - and will update on all the performances I see. Who are some of these people? I've always wanted to see DMB - asaaah.
Then playing hooky on Monday and going to Water World. If you are in the area, you should totally play hooky and join us. Cheers!
